translation:
Memories from the
past losing balance - the skin around your elbow reminds me to an
elephant - seasons change, provided bij swift passing landscapes
I always take pictures
when I'm on the highway, from my car. I have to, all that beauty
disappears so fast. But as a painter I have to work much slower.
An underpainting in earthpigments, a contrasting layer over that
- and colors come to life, like photograph but more real than that.
A photo is not a memory. Memory is an image we store, a reality
on its own. Somewhere there must be a world consisting of memory.
Where we can share our memories.
This exhibition is
a result from the learning period Sakind did in Eveliens studio,
as a part of her art-and-design education
